Otni Chinenere is an amazing mum to twins. A charismatic host, moderator, engaging speaker and communication skills coach, she is the founder and force behind Taura Communications, assisting people to overcome communication barriers such as fear, self-doubt, and cultural differences, empowering them to express their ideas effectively in any situation. Through Taura, Otni provides lifelong communication skills that extend beyond professional into enriching personal relationships, enhancing leadership abilities, and fostering overall personal development.


Keonté Beals is a multi-award-winning singer/songwriter, author, performer, and owner of KBeals Entertainment, a publishing and touring company. Keonté is from North Preston, Nova Scotia, the largest all-black indigenous community in Canada.



Caroline Kovesi is an accessibility specialist, as well as the former Awareness and Education Coordinator for the Nova Scotia Accessibility Directorate. Caroline has created social media content for a wide range of audiences from the government, to publishers, to small businesses and artisans, to grassroots mutual aid.


Angela Poundmaker-Gromova is a dedicated communications professional and proud member of the Poundmaker Cree Nation, acknowledging her presence in Mi’kma’ki, the ancestral and unceded territory of the Mi’kmaq People. Renowned for her visionary approach to communications, Angela focuses on fostering connections and building communities through strategic expertise. With a background in public relations, branding, and relationship cultivation, she has collaborated with various sectors, including government, non-profits, charities, and start-ups.
